The six Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, through their securities authorities, have come together to launch the "Mulhem" Investment Awareness Program, aimed at enriching the financial and investment culture of Gulf citizens engaged in financial transactions and investments in general. The program has adopted several initiatives and launched a number of awards.
This year marks the launch of the third edition of the Gulf Smart Investor Award, which encourages school and university students, as well as individuals, to present creative content in the field of financial and investment transactions. The award includes four tracks: video, drawing, photography, and writing, each with its own criteria, judging standards, and prizes, which can be reviewed on the award’s dedicated website. Proposed topics for participants include financial planning and saving, investment, and investor protection.
To participate in the award, one must be a citizen or resident of one of the six GCC countries: Qatar, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, or Oman.
