Samsung Talks Smart Home at GITEX Shopper Supplement

a leader in digital convergence technologies, will showcase its smart home solutions at ‘Shopper Smart Living,’ a supplement of GITEX Shopper Spring 2015. From April 1 to April 4, the company will demonstrate the Home of the Future by connecting Samsung Smart TVs, home appliances, smartphones and home security solutions, at the exhibition space.
Designed to bring users peace of mind, savings and convenience, the Samsung Smart Home solution lets users connect and manage multiple devices simultaneously through a single application, even when they are away from home.
“Every component of the Samsung Smart Home helps people stay in control of their busy schedules and even busier lives. The key is connected solutions, or what we call the ‘Home of the Future,’ and we are excited to unveil it to the region at ‘Shopper Smart Living,” said Mr. Marco Vocale, Head of Corporate Marketing at Samsung Gulf Electronics.
Mr. Vocale added, “The first thing that visitors will notice is how much less there is to worry about in our connected home. The Samsung Smart Home takes the first step toward self-cleaning with intelligent home appliances and even sends notifications about the wash cycle. At the end of the day, they have more time to enjoy the things they really care about, like their hobbies, their families—their lives.”
Since the first iteration of the Home of the Future in 2014, Samsung has connected an array of new products to the interactive home, including an intelligent air conditioner and vacuum cleaner, a Wi-Fi—enabled washing machine, and multiple lines of televisions that can interact with everything from smartphones to Samsung’s smart refrigerator.
Visitors to ‘Shopper Smart Living’ can experience the Samsung Smart Home at Dubai World Trade Centre.
