The Aromi restaurant, located at Waldorf Astoria Jeddah - Qasr Al Sharq hotel, is one of Jeddah’s top Italian eateries providing an elegant and unique dining experience. Now, with the appointment of the internationally renowned master of Italian cuisine, Chef Mauro Giordano, as Executive Chef, Aromi is raising the bar for Italian cuisine in the region.

From start to finish, Aromi’s menu presents tantalizing combinations of unique ingredients that add an entirely new facet to Italian favorites. A starter with spicy avocado, saku tuna tartare and crab tiane with mandarin sherbet promises an exquisite taste experience as does the lobster broth with mango and basil. A full fish and seafood selection tempts with such entrees as turbot fillet, pear risotto, foie gras jus and caramelized bay scallops, clémentine, kumquats, cauliflower puree and capers.

Giordano has served as sous and executive chef in selected eateries in his native Italy as well as in neighboring Switzerland. He has also headed kitchens and trained staff in Italian and Mediterranean restaurants as well as in Finland, South Korea and China. He comes to Aromi after a stint at the most exclusive Italian restaurant in Sofia, Bulgaria.
