The Red Sea Mall hosted the launch of the permanent "Productive Families Booth," which is sponsored cooperatively by Red Sea Mall and Jeddah's Chamber of Commerce and Industry, supported by "Ala Mazajy" volunteer group, which caters to the care of productive families in Jeddah.
The launching event was attended by distinctive JCCI members led by Mr. Zyad Al Bassam, Vice President of Jeddah's Chamber. In addition to media influencers and Jeddah's social elite.
During the ceremony, Mr. Ziyad Al Bassam announced that the initiative of launching the first retail outlet "The Productive Families Booth," has been permanently endorsed by Red Sea Mall, to support families to market their products, discarding any financial expectancy by the mall is a prominent initiative that will reflect positively in developing Saudi capabilities, especially those of women. This initiative is to create real chance to enhance their skills and elevate their chances. It will also open the door for more similar investments to compete within the Saudi market
Al Bassam Added," we encourage all Saudis, who have capabilities to join these promising initiatives, as we proceed in doing our roles in supporting them. These initiatives is to enhance our society members qualifications and national capabilities, pave down difficulties, give them incentives to succeed, and provide them with support. Jeddah's Chamber of Commerce has endorsed many "Productive Families" activities that turned beneficial to more than 5 thousand women during the last 5 years. We will continue to support our vision of them."
From his side, Mr. Mohamed Iqbal Alawi, CEO of Red Sea Malls Company, the owning company of Red Sea Mall, said, "Since the opening of Red Sea Mall we have taken a huge responsibility towards community service and development, especially of Productive Families. Therefore, we have carried out studies and strategies for the best method that will serve their best interest. The result of these studies led us to build first outlet booth for productive families. Red Sea Mall was the first to take this initiative. We aim to support their products, encourage their financial growth, contribute in creating new business opportunities, which will all support the economy of our country. We intend to make "The Productive Families Booth" a route to support and cater to more than 100 families this year."
In addition, the "Ala Mazajy" volunteer group directly supports and supervises over the retail booth. This supervision is to ensure that each family is to have an equal chance to display its products for 3 days. Productive families have a variety of retail interest to display such as glass painting, sewing, various decoration products, as well as nutrition products such as bakery, pickles, oriental meals, producing traditional homemade species, pies and traditional desserts.
