Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman arrived in Makkah from Jeddah on Friday night to spend the last 10 days of the holy month of Ramadan in the vicinity of the Holy Kaaba.
Upon arrival at Al-Safa Palace, the King was received by Prince Faisal Bin Abdullah Bin Turki, Prince Faisal Bin Muhammad, assistant undersecretary at the Makkah governorate, Sheikh Saleh Bin Humaid, advisor at the Royal Court, Sheikh Abdurahman Al-Sudais, head of the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques, Makkah Mayor Osama Al-Bar, Lt. Gen. Othman Al-Mohrej, director of Public Security, and several other high ranking civilian and military officials.

Earlier, the King arrived in Jeddah from Madinah after spending three days during which he visited the Prophet’s Mosque, and attended a public reception hosted by people of Madinah, besides opening several development projects worth over SR4 billion.
Upon arrival at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, the King was received by Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, emir of Makkah and advisor to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, Prince Mishal Bin Majed, governor of Jeddah, and several other princes and senior officials.
