As part of its blood donation campaign launched under the theme ‘every drop of blood counts’, and in celebration of reaching 10,000 donors, Najm company for insurance services presented a car to the Disabled Children Association (DCA).
The celebration was held at the DCA headquarters, in presence of representatives from each of Najm company and Wateen Application; a campaign partner. Also attending were DCA’s employees.
This campaign is driven by Najm's strong commitment to social responsibility, where the company announced it will present a car to the DCA and give another to a lucky winner chosen from the pool of blood donors who participated in the campaign. The draw to choose the winner will be conducted after the number of participants reaches 15,000.
In this regard, Ms. Maha Mohammed Al-Shunaifi, the Director of Corporate Communications and Marketing at Najm, said “the blood donation campaign has achieved most of its objectives so far”, adding “Today we celebrate success by presenting the car to the Disabled Children Association in appreciation of its vital role in providing humanitarian services to an important and valuable segment of society”.
She also affirmed that this campaign stems from Najm’s solid corporate social responsibility strategy, and an aspiration to promote blood donor culture throughout the society.
The ‘every drop of blood counts’ campaign comes as part of a wider scope of awareness campaigns organized by "Najm" to serve public safety and support accident victims in particular.
