Nahdi’s ‘Wazen Hayatak’ weight management programme named ‘Best CSR Impact Initiative’

Nahdi Medical Company’s weight management programme ‘Wazen Hayatak’ has been recognised as the ‘Best CSR Impact Initiative for 2018’ in the Ta'atheer Social Impact Awards announced in Dubai recently.  

 

A pioneer in the healthcare sector, Nahdi organises the ‘Wazen Hayatak’ programme as part of the Nahdi Pharmacy Corporate Social sustainability to encourage the community to transform their routine lifestyle to make it healthy and balanced.

 

“The award for ‘Wazen Hayatak’ comes as the latest recognition for Nahdi’s CSR initiatives, and reflects the company’s diligent efforts to apply the best international CSR practices to create a healthy society. The ‘Wazen Hayatak’ programme focuses on the aspects of nutrition, physical activity and mental health to enable participants of the programme achieve a balanced and healthy lifestyle. It helps in weight management in a healthy manner, and enables people with common health disorders to follow a lifestyle to stabilise their health conditions. The programme also includes scientific and professional intervention options to modify unhealthy behaviours, apart from providing adequate health and wellness information to encourage people to embrace a healthy lifestyle.

     

Led by an expert panel of industry leaders and innovators in CSR and the social impact space, the Ta'atheer Social Impact Awards recognise outstanding achievements that have contributed to the development of social impact and CSR agenda in the Middle East and North Africa region.
