Careem Captain Conference Continues Across Kingdom of Saudi Arabia

Careem, the leading app-based ride-hailing service in the region, has concluded the Careem Career Fair held in Dammam in partnership with the Human Resources Development Fund (Hadaf) and the National Labor Gateway (Taqat). The exhibition witnessed the attendance of 1,000 Saudi men and women from the Eastern Province.

General Manager of the Eastern Province at Careem Eng. Iyad Al Dalooj commented: “We are proud of the large turnout at the Careem Career Fair in Dammam as it reflects users’ trust in the company in the Kingdom in general and the Eastern Province in particular. A total of 1,000 Saudi men and women from the Eastern Province have applied to become Careem captains, and perhaps the launch of the iOS version of the Careem Captain App has boosted the turnout of applicants through the easy process of applying for available positions. We at Careem are delighted to welcome these applicants to the team, where they will become full-time captains with a guaranteed monthly income and a multitude of additional benefits.”

The Careem Career Fair in Dammam is the second of its kind for the company; the first conference, which was held earlier this month in Jeddah, welcomed more than 8,000 Saudi applicants seeking to join Careem as full-time captains. Applicants started their jobs immediately after applying.

New employees who meet the company’s criteria will receive a guaranteed and rewarding monthly income of 7,500 SAR with varied and multiple options as well as additional benefits, including health insurance and optional social insurance. Careem also offers several options that enable Saudi youth to obtain a suitable car with facilitated financing provided they are at least 20 years old, have an official driving license, and do not own a car.

Careem will organize a career fair in Riyadh in the coming period as part of its efforts to attract Saudi talents and help create job opportunities for Saudi youth.
