In celebration of 25 years of Dubai City of Gold and Dubai Shopping festival, Dubai Gold and Jewellery Group (DGJG), the largest trade body for the jewellery industry in association with Dubai Festivals & Retail Establishment (DFRE) has revealed a special ‘Dubai City of Gold’ commemorative coin and also announced their latest jewellery campaign for Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF) 2020. The celebratory moments for Dubai residents and tourists will kick off on December 26 and will run until 1stFebruary 2020.
Throughout DSF 2020, jewellery shoppers can take home up to 75 special edition coins daily.
How to participate and win big
With every Jewellery purchase of AED 500 from any of the participating Jewellery outlets, customers will be entitled to get one raffle coupon that can win them up to 3000 Gold Coins of 8 grams each in raffle draws. There will be 5 winners in daily raffle draws from 26th December 2019 to 1st of February 2020; the first winner will win 25 coins, second to win 20, third to win 15, fourth to win 10 and fifth winner will take home 5 coins. Also, shoppers can win more every Saturday, starting on Jan 4, where three additional winners can win 5 coins each.
Customers can double their winning chances with the purchase of diamond and pearl jewellery worth AED 500 or on the purchase of ‘Dubai City of Gold’ special edition coin or when using Visa card for purchase, where shoppers will be entitled for double raffle
Partners for the current campaign
Visa being the strategic partner of DGJG for this campaign has added to the shopping excitement by doubling the chance of winning the gold coins. Shoppers are entitled to get two coupons instead of one to participate in the raffle draw, on a minimum spend of AED 500 using Visa debit, credit card or digital pay. The group has also partnered up with Ithra Dubai who are developing the Deira Gold souk with the Deira Waterfont project and Emirates Gold as ‘Minting Partner’ for this year’s campaign.
