KFUPM Ranks Fourth Globally in the Field of Patents

King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM) has ranked fourth globally according to the annual ranking of the US National Academy of Inventors and Intellectual Property Owners for universities in 2019.
In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Minister of Energy and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals (KFUPM), affirmed that this achievement represents a pride for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, extending thanks to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, for their great support to education.
Prince Abdulaziz added that this achievement reflects the university's strategic methodology in the fields of research and innovation throughout decades.
