Saudi newspapers highlighted in their editorials today a number of issues at the local, regional and international arenas.
Al-Riyadh newspaper reported in its editorial that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, through Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF), has officially announced the launch of its bid to host 2027 AFC Asian Cup for the first time, under the slogan “Forward for Asia.”
The paper cited the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's previous hosting of Asian Youth Cup, Youth World Cup and many regional, Arab and Islamic tournaments, added that the local sports are witnessing unprecedented and unlimited support from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH the Crown Prince in all fields and at all levels.
Al-Riyadh concluded that the Kingdom seeks, through this hosting bid to draw the world's attention towards its great potential and capabilities of hosting such major and varied international sporting events.
Regarding other issue, Al-Yaum newspaper reported in its editorial that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia always provides aid to all affected people in the world, adding that the Kingdom provided, through King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) a huge aid and shelter materials to those affected by the floods in Sudan, in addition to unremitting and relief support for people in Yemen to help them to find a way out of their crisis, caused by Iranian-backed Al-Houthi terrorist militia.
