165 women participated in the initiative of Bint Baladi exhibition, which is implemented by the first Arab companies and Jordan House to organize exhibitions and conferences with the aim of marketing their products and selling directly to the public. The founder and executive director of the initiative, Bilal Al-Birmawi, told Petra news agency that the initiative has completed all preparations for the exhibition which will be held from 17 to 20 this month at the Expo Center in Hyatt Amman. He pointed out that the exhibition, which supports the support and empowerment of Jordanian women, will be held on an area of 1700 square meters, and will provide the opportunity for women participants investment opportunities by inviting specialized institutions and companies, and networking with women in the development of products.
The exhibition, which includes three suites - textiles, fashion, handicrafts, food and popular beverages - aims at helping women market their products and networking with international and national funding organizations in the Kingdom's regions. The exhibition seeks to be an annual, an economic platform for women to showcase their products, and a link with international and domestic financing programs. On the sidelines of the exhibition, entertainment programs, art paragraphs, fashion shows and children's events will be held. The exhibition will be open on Wednesday and Thursday from 4 pm to 10 pm, Friday from 2 pm to 10 pm and Saturday from 11 am to 10 pm.
