Sharjah Ruler receives CEO of Thailand’s National Oil Company

H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, received on Monday, in the presence of H.H. Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, Muntri Ruangekwal, CEO of Thailand’s National Oil Company (PTT), at Badee Palace.

Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad welcomed the company's visit, praising the fruitful cooperation between the company and the Emirate of Sharjah in energy projects and investments.

The meeting dealt with the company's ongoing work in various fields of gas and energy through smart partnership with the Sharjah National Oil Corporation and the Italian multinational oil and gas company Eni, as well as oil and gas exploration, which contributes to the sustainable development process in the Emirate of Sharjah.

The meeting also dealt with scientific and knowledge projects in the Emirate of Sharjah, which represent a developmental diversity for the development of science, technology and innovation through various activities and events carried out by scientific and academic institutions, as well as modern scientific complexes in the emirate, which is a continuation of Sharjah's projects in the fields of energy and support for it with specialised cadres and cooperation with global companies.

The meeting was attended by Hatem Al-Mousa, Executive Director of the Sharjah National Oil Corporation, Jiro Pagona, Director General of Eni Sharjah, and a number of officials.
