2nd Adventure & Camping 2020 Exhibition begins at Expo Al Dhaid

The 2nd edition of the Adventure & Camping 2020 Exhibition, organized by Expo Al Dhaid, has kicked off today, with the support of the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce & Industry, SCCI, and the supervision of Expo Centre Sharjah.

The region’s first such event is showcasing over 10,000 products from about 30 companies and 60 brands specializing in the latest camping supplies and accessories, land and sea excursions, hunting equipment and supplies, camping-related safety devices, lighting technologies, motorcycles, and quad bikes.

His Excellency Mohammed Ahmed Amin Al Awadi, Director General of SCCI, said: “The Adventure & Camping 2020 Exhibition is one of the SCCI’s initiatives intended to revitalize the economic activity in the central region, by supporting the exhibitions, conferences industry across the Emirate of Sharjah.”

He pointed to the importance of the event in providing an environment supportive of camping & outdoor companies to promote their products and open new avenues for marketing. It’s also a good opportunity for direct communication with camping, outdoor, and marine life supply companies, exchange of experiences, and conclude business deals.

“Sharjah’s central and eastern regions have become the focus of attention of many international and local companies, businessmen, and investors in various economic sectors, thanks to the exhibitions, conferences, and seminars that were organized periodically before the pandemic,” said His Excellency Saif Mohammed Al-Midfa, CEO of Expo Centre Sharjah, “This has greatly contributed to introducing the investment available in the region.”

Al-Midfa underlined the Expo Centre’s keenness to launch such specialized events to help the exhibitions industry in the eastern region thrive, praising the efforts by all the teams to make this event successful, with strictest precautionary measures in place for the health and safety of everyone.

The exhibition, on its first day, saw a remarkable turnout of visitors of different nationalities and age groups who are interested in the camping and outdoor products offered by the most renowned companies and brands.

The exhibition opens its doors from 11 am to 10 pm on daily basis, except for Friday from 3 pm to 10 pm.
