2XL reveals furniture trends for 2017

UAE’s leading luxury French style furniture and home décor retailer, 2XL, has revealed the leading trends for 2017

Green

Green will be the dominating colour in 2017. Denoting vitality and happiness, green colour will accentuate homes with its bright shade spilling over to furnishings, artworks, lightings and linen.

According to Amit Yadav, Marketing Manager, 2XL Furniture & Home Décor: “2017 is going to be the colour of green. There will be a move towards adopting the colour of nature, harmony and freshness.”

Antique

2XL sees a trend towards antique style furniture with a modern touch.

Yadav says: “Homes may not be designed on a strict period of time but we see a trend towards increasingly adopting antique and classic furniture to give a twist of bygone eras to modern style.”

Space saving furniture

Oversized space consuming furniture will be replaced with compact, stylish furniture that gives more room for entertainment and generally, gives the home a brighter spacious look.

Classic bedheads upholstered in style will be in fashion. They are perfect for reading in bed and adds to the stylish look of the room.
