The 3rd Saudi Logistics Conference being organized in Riyadh next month will discuss a host of key issues relating to supply-chain management and the logistics sector.
The three-day conference to be held at the Four Seasons Hotel on Oct. 13-15 under the patronage of Minister of Transport Nabeel Mohamed Al-Amudi will be attended by a number of ministers, officials and decision-makers from the Kingdom and abroad.
Some of the key issues to be discussed at the conference include, “Simplifying the concepts of supply chain technology and logistics, and the future of logistics services in the Kingdom in the digital age”.
Discussions will also focus on renewable energy and supply chain issues, future logistics projects, as well as analyzing big data and its impact on companies and organizations.
“The conference aims at attracting about 2,000 participants representing the logistics field in the public and private sectors locally, regionally, and globally, in addition to the international institutions and major investment companies in the logistics sector,” said Yasser Abdulaziz Al Misfer, Head of Marketing and Corporate Communications at the Ministry of Transport.
