4,310 Saudis to be trained in steel works

In partnership with Al-Rajhi Steel Industries Limited, the Technical and Vocational Training Corporation (TVTC) will train 4,310 Saudis to meet the needs of the private sector.
Under the pact inked Wednesday at the TVTC’s headquarters in Riyadh, the organization will provide training for citizens in administrative and technical fields related to the industry.
TVTC Gov. Ali Al-Ghafees and Al-Rajhi Steel Industries Limited Chief Executive Officer Mahdi Al-Qahtani signed the agreement.
Speaking on the occasion, Al-Ghafees said that the TVTC is committed to developing the skills of workers in the private sector. “The private sector is a strategic partner of the institution in the field of training,” he said.
He said the move aims to raise the level of productivity and quality of companies and support the Saudization drive. He added that he was confident in the TVTC’s training programs.
