The three-year-old generation take centre stage for Godolphin on day three of Royal Ascot, Thursday, June 16, with Hawkbill, Prize Money and Race Day lining up in the G3 Tercentenary Stakes.
Hawkbill (Charlie Appleby/William Buick) goes for a fifth consecutive win and heads into the 10-furlong contest on the back of a comfortable success over the same trip in the Listed Newmarket Stakes at Newmarket on April 30.
Prize Money (Saeed bin Suroor/James Doyle) went down by half a length when runner-up in a Goodwood Listed race over 11 furlongs on May 20, while Race Day(Saeed bin Suroor/Martin Lane) steps up in distance following several efforts over shorter.
Charlie Appleby reported: "Hawkbill was impressive in his first run back this season when winning the Newmarket Stakes.
"He handled the good to soft conditions then and has come out of the race well. He goes into the race in good order although extreme ground conditions would be an unknown."
Saeed bin Suroor commented: "Prize Money has finished second on both his starts this season and a mile and a quarter is a good trip for him. He is in good form and has been working well but we will have to wait and see how he handles the ground. Race Day is also in good order."
