Eminent international and regional health leaders will come together to share best practices and insights in infection prevention, management and control of infectious Diseases at the 3rd ID Week congress happening under the support of Department of Health Abu Dhabi (DoH) from 23rd October until 26th at the Rosewood Abu Dhabi Hotel.
The theme for this year’s event is ‘Bringing ID latest Advances to Promote Patient Care and Safety’, and it aims to showcase the best approaches and latest guidelines in antimicrobial stewardship while providing a platform to update knowledge of regional emerging epidemics and their detection and management.
The four-day-long event will feature interactive sessions, discussions, and workshops which will share success stories, highlight challenges, and discuss innovative use of vaccines, new treatments, diagnostics, global health, and public-private partnerships with a special focus on promoting patient care and safety. The event will also shed light on the control of MERS CoV disease, management of multidrug resistance and best Antimicrobial Stewardship practices as well as adopting successful hospital infection control program.

The event will feature interactive case-studies, platform presentations, educational workshops, networking sessions, and more, to provide a comprehensive review of current issues and recent advances in selected ID topics, including AMR, Antimicrobial stewardship programs, Vaccination, HIV, outbreaks, Infection Control and other topics.
