Acclaimed Anatolian restaurant Rüya Riyadh launches authentic Turkish brunch

Taking Turkish cuisine in Saudi Arabia to exciting new heights, Rüya Riyadh has launched its first Turkish brunch, inviting guests into a world of authentic and indulgent cuisine, Turkish hospitality and rich culinary traditions and heritage. Translating to Dream in Turkish, Rüya aims to deliver diners heartfelt hospitality and authentic Anatolian flavours in an elegant and contemporary space, and its brunch is the next step in its dining journey.

Launching on Saturday, 2 December, the new brunch will transport diners to the Anatolian peninsula’s homely kitchens with an open oven bakery table, letting the warm, freshly baked smell of bread dance around the room, and Turkish breakfast specialities. Available at SAR200 a head, all tables will be presented with unlimited baskets of hot freshly baked Sourdough, accompanied by Lavash, Simit and a spread of Turkish Cheeses, including Erzincan Tulum, Aged Goat Cheese, Kashar Cheese and Exine White Cheese. Also on the lavish and comforting spread, diners can enjoy a selection of breakfast condiments, including Butter, Kars Honeycomb and Kaymak, Marinated Olives, Tomatoes and Cucumber Crudites and Toasted Sesame Seeds and Sahine – making for a true Turkish feast.

Next, diners are invited to select a choice of Pide- a traditional flatbread with bubbling cheeses or closed with mincemeat. All dishes are served to table, on authentic hand-woven tablecloths paying homage to the artisans of the Anatolian peninsula, and accompanied by fresh orange juice, coffee or tea – served in an ornate traditional Turkish teapot.

Those looking to enhance their dining experience can add a selection of additional items. These include the indulgent Kuymak (buttery corn with melted cheese), Menemen (scrambled eggs with tomato and vegetables), Sucuklu Yumurta (homemade sucuk and fried eggs) and Pastırmalı Yumurta (pastrami and eggs). For dessert, diners can relish in sweet and warm Orange Almond Revani – a Turkish style orange cake made with ground almonds – along with a fresh fruit platter.

Located in the heart of Riyadh’s bustling Al Dabab Street, Rüya is the perfect place to enjoy a weekend indulgence, with guests invited to take a seat in its beautifully designed dining room – influenced by the grandeur of the Byzantine, Anatolian and Ottoman empires – or out on the greenery-covered terrace.

Rüya Riyadh’s Authentic Turkish brunch is available for SAR200 per person, inclusive of tea, coffee and orange juice, and is served on Saturdays from 12PM – 4PM. For reservations, visit ruyarestaurants.com/riyadh/ email enquiries@ruyariyadh.com or call +966 9200 10692
