Ace tennis festival arrives at Zayed Sports City

Residents of Abu Dhabi can lace up their trainers in excitement, as Zayed Sports City (ZSC) gets set to host the first ZSC Academy Tennis Festival on 9 December, 2016.

ZSC Academy Tennis Festival welcomes families and friends of all ages to experience the game of tennis in a host of ways that’s sure to get you excited. Whether you’re a person who has never considered becoming a tennis player or one that has a true love of the game, the event caters to all interests and is surrounded by a fun and festive atmosphere that the whole family will enjoy.

On December 9, the festival will serve up tennis clinics where ZSC Academy’s professional coaches will give tips and guidance for players at all levels to grow within the game. In addition to the lessons that showcase how enjoyable the sport is and the expertise of ZSC Academy’s coaches, off-court action includes competitions and giveaways, with lucky winners receiving free tennis lessons, electronics, ZSC vouchers and gifts. Little ones can stay active off the court too, with jumping castles to burn off any excess energy. The excitement will be capped off with exhibition matches between ZSC Academy coaches and players, including former ATP 72 Peter Wessels.

While it promises to be an entertaining event for everyone, the core of the festival aims to engage new and returning players with the sport. Tennis is great not only for fitness, but also for its social atmosphere and variety of ways to play, including men’s, ladies, mixed, singles and doubles. It’s also popular not only with children, including those as young as 2, but is played through adulthood. Lessons for all of these groups are available from ZSC Academy, owned and operated by Zayed Sports City.
