AFRICAN LOUNGE RIYADH LAUNCHES A NEW SHARING SET MENU FOR A FLAVOURFUL JOURNEY

Part of Tashas Group’s new Flamingo Collection, the new set menu for two takes guests through a carefully selected journey inspired by flavours from around the world 

In the buzz of Bujairi Terrace’s vibrant new dining scene, one destination offers a unique experience like never before – Flamingo Collection. From the acclaimed Tashas Group, the exquisitely designed space houses three captivating concepts under one roof, and one of them sets the standard for stylish catch-ups and bites in the city with its enticing new set menu that is perfect for two: African Lounge.

Inspired by the continent’s luxury tented safaris and raw natural beauty, the evocative space has launched a curated set menu of globally inspired sharing plates that celebrates a relaxed, sociable style of dining with savoury dishes and decadent desserts. Designed for two people at SAR 580, ‘The Journey’ set menu is available from 27th February onwards, featuring delicious dishes and is available alongside African Lounge’s newly launched a la carte main and desserts menu..

‘The Journey’ focuses on local, seasonal ingredients imbued with flavours from around the world, taking guests on a gastronomic journey of discovery through four courses for two to share.

Designed with couples and friends in mind, the set menu is the perfect excuse for glamorous get-togethers and pairs perfectly with African Lounge’s creative beverage menu, which includes aromatics like rooibos tea, kaffir lime, kalamansi, and mandarin, along with a wide selection of delicate artisan teas.

Open late into the night and a popular spot for after-dinner drinks and treats, African Lounge also offers a range of decadent desserts, each meticulously crafted by the in-house pastry team celebrating globally inspired, layered flavours. . 

Guests can enjoy the tantalising new menu from the canopied, safari-green-hued lounge space – a cocoon of warmth and inviting ambiance with velvet tasselled seating and gold touches – or on the panoramic outdoor terrace which offers views across historic Diriyah.

African Lounge is open from 6pm to 12am throughout the week. The new sharing set menu and à la carte menu are available from 27th February 2024.
