The Directorate of Water in the Al-Baha Region has started implementing a number of water and sewage network projects in a number of governorates of the region at a cost of more than SR 153 million.
The project includes the sanitation project in Al-Mahwah Governorate with a value of 61 million riyals and a water project in Al-Hallaj Governorate for 30 million riyals. The project will serve 18900 beneficiaries, with networks lengths of 162 km. At a cost of 22 million riyals and serve 5950 beneficiaries, lengths of networks 114 km, and a water project in the village of 40 million riyals, serving 34462 beneficiaries, and lengths of networks amounted to 245 km.
He pointed out that the implementation of these projects in the Al Baha area comes within the projects of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture approved within the National Transformation 2020 program and the National Strategy for Water 2030, which includes the sustainability and conservation of water resources, protecting the environment and providing safe supply and quality services.
