Al Faisaliah Hotel welcomes new Director of Sales and Marketing

Al Faisaliah Hotel and Hotel Al Khozama, front runners in Saudi hospitality, are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Oliver Braun to the position of Director of Sales & Marketing. In his new role, Oliver will oversee all marketing, sales and public relations strategies and initiatives for Al Faisaliah Hotel and Hotel Al Khozama.

Oliver established his career working for some of the world’s finest hotels and resorts. Before joining Al Faisaliah Hotel in May 2015, Oliver spent twelve years with Sun International Resorts and Hotels, most recently based in Dubai as Regional Director of Marketing & Market Manager GCC/Middle East & India. He was responsible for all sales and marketing activities in German speaking markets, Central Europe, GCC/Middle East and India. Oliver’s portfolio of hotels includes: The Table Bay Hotel, Cape Town and The Palace of the Lost City, Sun City, which like Al Faisaliah Hotel, are esteemed members of The Leading Hotels of the World and undisputed icons of their destination.

Prior to working with Sun International, Oliver was the Director of Business Development of Le Royal Méridien Bahrain (now The Ritz-Carlton, Bahrain Hotel & Spa). Oliver was the Director of Sales and Marketing at Intercontinental Hotel Oman and he has also held various positions with Hyatt Hotels and Resorts, and received his initial management training with Mövenpick Hotels and Resorts. He is a highly experienced business leader with a staggering 30 years’ experience and a proven track record in improving the commercial performance, market profile and reputation of world class hotels and resorts.
