Al Mouri Leads Hankook's Team through their Inaugural Participation in Dakar Rally 2021

Dakar Rally 2021 in Saudi Arabia will witness the inaugural participation of Hankook's team in the rally led by Saudi Motorsports Champion Saeed Al Mori, who set off the race in a T4 class vehicle equipped with Hankook’s Dyna Pro MT tires that are specially manufactured for this type of vehicle. Bin Shihon Group’s sponsorship, the official dealer of Hankook Tires in the Kingdom, for Saeed Al-Mori in Dakar Rally is an extension of the ongoing relationship that brings the two parties together and resulted in many accomplishments, such as the title of Saudi Arabia’s Circuit Race and the Middle East Drift Championship. Today both parties decided to enter a new challenge and participate in Dakar Rally Challenge 2021, which is hosted for the 2nd time in a row by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

About this participation, Saeed Al Mori said: “First, I would like to thank HRH the Crown Prince, Prince Mohammed bin Salman, who brought to reality our long awaited dream to see such global events being held successfully in Saudi Arabia, and I’m certain that Dakar Rally this years will surpass last year’s success. I also would like to thank the Minister of Sports, HRH Prince Abdulaziz Al-Faisal, and the President of the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation, HRH Prince Sultan Al-Faisal, for their efforts in translating the interest and support of the Saudi Government in achieving the successes that we are witnessing today. Also, I would like to thank Bin-Shihon Group for the support that I found when I proposed the idea of participating in Dakar Rally in partnership with Hankook, which is an excellent opportunity given that the Kingdom is hosting the largest and most difficult global motors race in the world. After our decision to participate, we started all technical and mechanical preparations for this rally in order to ensure the highest degrees of preparation to compete for advanced positions in the rally, as our ambition is to compete not just participate.”
