AliExpress, a global retail online marketplace under Alibaba Group and a world-wide partner for Olympic Games, has recorded an exponential growth in the ‘Home Demand’ segment across Saudi Arabia.
With more people working from home, there is a stronger demand across different categories, especially on home related products. Printer related products have seen exceptional growth, with demand increasing 163% while demand for computer and accessories grew by 165%.
There has also been a consistent growth in demand for Sleep & Lounge products, which increased by 414% while demand for children’s products such as clothes increased by 146% and sales of toys increased by 195%.

We are showcasing products that are sought after by residents, which support them to do work more productively from their homes as well as make home improvements. The growth in demand in all these categories reflects the trust of Saudi Arabian customers in AliExpress to deliver quality products at competitive prices punctually.”
AliExpress has been recording strong growth in demand across categories such as Home Appliance with the online sales for online appliances increasing by 132% and coffee-ware recording a spike in demand by a whopping 270%.
More people tend to focused on home improvements as the category has picked up sales with demand for Home & Garden products increasing by 100% and the Home Textile segment recording a growth in demand by over 115%.
