Last week, Almarai and the Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) signed a memorandum of understanding between the two parties stated that Almarai provides free food baskets to support the families in need through the national platform "Ehsan" for charitable work.
The memorandum was signed by Abdullah bin Nasser Al-Bader, CEO of Almarai, and Abdulaziz Al-Hammad, representing SDAIA as he is the CEO "Ehsan."
"The signing of this agreement came as part of Almarai Corporate Citizenship Program and the company's keen to support the campaigns of the charitable sector by cooperating with official platforms," mentioned Abdullah bin Nasser Al-Bader, CEO of Almarai.
Al=Bader added that Almarai has a program that has been in place for many years to support the families in need by providing food baskets. In this program, Almarai supports more than 300 charitable associations annually in various regions in the Kingdom.
It is worth mentioning that Almarai had participated in the “National Campaign for Charitable Work” last Ramadan by donating one million Saudi riyals through Ehsan platform. By this, Almarai seeks to maximize the impact of the charitable sector in the Kingdom, empower it technically through partnerships with government and private sectors, and raise the contribution of this sector in GDP.
