Almosafer Supports Ksa Domestic Tourism Growth With Comprehensive Product Offering And Omnichannel Service

Almosafer, the Kingdom’s leading omnichannel travel brand, announced the launch of a holistic strategy to support the development of domestic tourism in Saudi Arabia, with dedicated packages and a 360 degrees promotional campaign aimed at boosting domestic travel bookings and encouraging Saudi nationals to explore the beauty of their own country over the coming months. 

 

 

 

The launch of  Almosafer’s domestic offering comes in response to the findings of the brand’s first of its kind study of Saudi sentiment in relation to post pandemic travel, which found that almost 40% of Saudi nationals are keen on discovering the growing cultural, adventure and entertainment offering at home.

 

 

 

The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is prioritizing the tourism sector’s growth in light of the challenges facing the industry worldwide and has announced a $4B tourism development fund that will serve this purpose. Almosafer, a homegrown brand and the largest leisure travel agency in the country, aims to utilize its integrated omnichannel platform and deep understanding of the local market to curate tailored domestic packages that will showcase the country’s breadth of offer. The move is designed to inspire Saudis to explore the Kingdom’s hidden gems such as the Farasan Islands off the coast of Jizan, the Fifa Mountains in Asir, or the Deesa Great Valley in Tabuk over the summer season and beyond. 

 

 

 

To meet the growing demand for domestic leisure travel, as reported in Almosafer’s travel sentiment survey, the brand is investing its resources in offering Saudis memorable experiences while guiding them on every step of their journey. From comprehensive city guides developed by local travel experts, solid travel advice and counsel, to engaging content that brings to life the main regional attractions and cultural heritage to evoke nostalgia and excitement towards exploration, Almosafer is changing the way Saudis view local travel.
