A federal judge has paved the way for Amazhausen and Microsoft to compete for a $ 10 billion contract from the Defense Department for a cloud computing system.
The judge issued a judgment against Oracle Technology, which confirmed that it was unfairly excluded from the competition for the defense infrastructure project contract known as GDI.
Oracle said there was a conflict of interest between Pentagon staff. Judge Eric Brugnick of the Federal Court of Cassation against Oracle ruled to effectively close the door to further allegations. The judge found that there was no injustice to the company.
With this ruling, the Pentagon will be able to choose between Microsoft and Amazon to implement the project, which is one of the largest technological projects put forward by the ministry.
