The awesome works of art enthralled an exclusive VIP audience at the elite Burj Al Arab. The once-in-a-lifetime Exhibition opened on 27th April, 2017 (Al Falak Ballroom) at 7 pm and continued well beyond midnight.
The focus of the display was the breathtaking portable Mosque – the world’s first ever! Portraits of the Rulers of UAE made from crushed amber stones also caught the attention of the audience. The event was in commemoration of UAE’s vision to be a model of the world. The selected guests included members of the Royal Family, Ambassadors, Heads of Government departments, VIPs and CEOs of major companies.
A spokesman for Amber Palm was quoted to have said “This was an event like no other. Amber has been shrouded in mystery and intrigue for centuries. From the pharaohs to philosophers to archaeologists, the majestic gemstone continues to captivate people worldwide. We are delighted to have brought this to life, right here in the UAE.”
“As a company dedicated to the Amber needs of the region’s most exclusive clientele we were determined to make this ambitious project a reality. Our wish was to achieve a twin-mandate –to reserve a place in history for both the wondrous Amber stone and the UAE.” he added.
The interest in Amber goes as far back as BC 4500 and beyond, ultimately growing roots in today’s Lebanon, Jordan, Syria, India and Ethiopia. Modern day amber comes to us from the Adriatic, the Baltic Sea, the Mediterranean, and the Black Sea coasts. Significantly, its English name, is derived from the Arabic word Anbar and has been used as ‘Black Gold’ prayer rosaries by Muslims all over the world.
Amber Palm Group takes pride in its collection which is not only extremely rare but free from impurities and sourced through sustainable methods. The rich look and feel of amber’s natural shades is known to combine the energy of the moon and the sun to miraculously heal body and soul. The “Emotions” collection in particular is believed to bequeath the Divine’s blessings on our plans. Amber is also known to heighten creativity and purify the heart by transforming negative into positive energy.
In the past amber was used purely for use in jewellery, However, Amber Palm became the first company to use amber for a variety of interior décor applications including private jets, bespoke yachts, cars and luxury homes. That’s in addition to religious buildings, gourmet restaurants and VIP clubs. Upon request Amber Palm can also create exceptional custom-made pictures which act as unique pieces of art.
One of the major advantages of Amber is that it is light weight and can be transported and installed with ease. Amber Palm tiles are ready-to-use and can be made to work in various combinations. The company has its own manufacturing facility in the UAE for the convenience of customers in the Emirates.
