Amman's industrial exports rise 12% in half a year

Exports of the Chamber of Industry of Amman increased during the first half of this year by 12.66% compared to the same period last year 2018.

According to statistical data, the Chamber's exports rose to 2.235 billion dinars during the first half of this year compared to 1.984 billion dinars for the same period last year 2018.

Five Arab and foreign countries accounted for more than half of the chamber's exports during the first half of this year, amounting to 1.1321 billion dinars, namely: India, Saudi Arabia, the United States, Iraq and Palestine.
The Chamber's exports to the sectors of mining industries amounted to 616 million dinars, chemicals and cosmetics 489 million dinars, and therapeutic and medical supplies 283 million dinars.

Exports of leather and leather industries amounted to 228 million dinars, food, agriculture, livestock, 224 million dinars, engineering, electrical and information technology worth 183 million dinars, packaging, paper, cardboard and office supplies 105 million dinars.

 

The rest of the chamber's exports went to the sectors of plastic and rubber industries worth 73 million dinars, construction 26 million dinars, wood and furniture worth 8 million dinars.
