The vibrant Havana Club ’25 soiree will merge the heady energy of Cuba with the timeless sophistication of Italy for one night only
For one unforgettable night, Il Baretto Riyadh is thrilled to present its New Year's Eve 2024 celebrations, a unique fusion of the colour, spirit, and hedonism of Cuba with the timeless sophistication of Italy.
Inspired by a story of romance and intrigue, Havana Club ’25 tells the tale of an Il Baretto chef’s former flame, who, after moving to Havana, sent a mysterious brightly stamped letter to the restaurant. What was told was a tale of jazz, dance, warmth, and sultry Havana nights that reminded her so much of Italy’s own zest for life. Her desire to bring these traditions back to Italy has been realised at Il Baretto Riyadh, with the most unique New Year’s Eve celebration in the Kingdom.
Taking place on 31st December, Havana Club ’25 will transport diners 7,500 miles to a night in the heady Cuban capital, with a set menu, live band and non-alcoholic prosecco. In the elegant KAFD space, guests will enjoy the charm of 1950s Havana and the timeless elegance of Italy, seeing these two colourful and intoxicating worlds come to life with festive details and decorations.
For a minimum spend of SAR650 per person, diners can enjoy the celebrations from 9pm until late, feasting on a menu of Italian-Cuban fusion cuisine and toasting the New Year with non-alcoholic prosecco. The evening will be further enlivened by a vivacious live band, delivering a mix of Cuban jazz and Italian classics, and a lineup of salsa dancers and musicians, all paying homage to Il Baretto’s roots.
Guests can also choose from an earlier sitting available from 6 to 8pm with no minimum spend. Here, diners can enjoy Il Baretto’s signature a la carte offering, which showcases the sumptuous flavours and culinary traditions of Italy’s 20 regions.
Adding to the immersive experience, the usually Italian-inspired dining room will be magically transformed into a vibrant Havana, complete with old suitcases, golden palm trees, neon lights, cigars, vintage cars, and prints in vivid hues of purple, orange and olive. Guests will be welcomed via a dazzling walkway past two towering golden palms and neon signage, setting the tone for the night ahead.
Il Baretto’s Riyadh’s Havana Club ’25 celebrations run from 6pm to late on 31st December, with a minimum spend of SAR650 for reservations from 8pm.
