Audi has once again received great feedback for its models from the Middle East region’s most respected automotive judging panels. For 2014 and 2015 the brand with the four rings has now achieved a total of 9 awards by several of the leading regional motoring publications, as well as the Middle East Car Of The Year Awards. Furthermore Audi Middle East was shortlisted to win a further two trophies at the prestigious Sports Industry Awards.
With two awards each, the new Audi TT model range, the RS 6 Avant and the RS 7 received the most accolades only topped by the Audi A3 Sedan which scooped three awards.
The RS 6 Avant was named “The Maddest Family Car On The Planet” by Motoring Middle East’s “Car of the Year” awards and also proved popular with Top Performance Magazine who chose the RS 6 Avant as the “Performance Wagon of the decade”.
The Audi TT model range received the titles of “Sports Car of the Year” by Automan Magazine and Auto Sport Magazine, whilst the Audi RS 7 was named “Best Performance Sedan” and claimed an additional victory from consumers with the “Consumer Choice Award” at the Middle East Car of the year awards (MECOTY).
But the overall winner of the current Audi model range in the Middle East is Audi’s new compact sedan: the Audi A3 Sedan. It won the “Consumers Choice Award” from the 7DAYS Car of the Year awards and received two awards at the wheels Car of the year awards as “Best Saloon” and “Readers Choice Award”.

Meanwhile Audi also enjoyed success in its home market of Germany and the rest of the world. Just to name a few, Germany’s Auto Zeitung has voted Audi the “Top brand in 2015” in the category “Multimedia and Connectivity” and Audi was the most successful brand at the “Connected Car Award” organized by Auto Bild and Computer Bild. The four rings won a total of four awards for Navigation, Internet and Entertainment and the TT was voted “Connected Car 2014”. Furthermore Audi received two prizes at the “Women’s World Car of the Year Award”. The A3 Sedan won in the “Family Car” category, and the Audi S3 in the “Sports Car” category. In the US, for the third year in a row, the overall victory in the “Luxury Car” category went to the Audi A6, voted by four million readers of the US Consumer Report.
