Bloomberg Ranks Bentley 10th Among Top Undergraduate Business Programs

Bentley University offers a wide variety of majors and minors, as well as optional liberal studies and business studies majors designed to create a modern intersection of the arts and sciences and business that’s unique in higher education.

Bentley University which is participating in participating in the 7th Gulf Education Conference and Exhibition at University of Business and Technology (UBT) in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on the 20 and 21 February 2018, believes that education should prepare students for whatever the world sends their way.

“This fusion of business fundamentals and liberal arts enables Bentley students to think outside of the box when faced with critical decisions in the workplace,” Christine W. Lookner, Director, Center for International Students and Scholars, said in a press release.

Lookner said in addition, the McCallum Graduate School of Business at Bentley offers an MBA and nine Master of Science programs in areas related to analytics, finance and technology.

“That’s why Bentley’s one-of-a-kind curriculum starts with a core business foundation, infused with the kind of critical thinking and cultural understanding that comes from the study of the arts and sciences, he said. “As a result, Bentley students are highly sought after by today’s leading organizations because of their professionalism, exposure to state-of-the-art research tools, and diverse, real-world experience.”

In its most recent “Best Undergraduate Business Schools” issue, Bloomberg Businessweek ranked Bentley 10th among the country’s top undergraduate business programs, he added.

Lookner said Bentley’s career services office was recently ranked second in the country by the Princeton Review.

“The Miller Center for Career Services offers resources including an on-campus recruiting program involving 1,000 national and international companies; an online job and internship database; career fairs; workshops on topics such as interviewing and networking; and a Career Development Seminar (CDI 1901) for first-year undergraduate students,” he added.

This approach, he said, works: “In 2017, 97 percent of undergraduate students found employment or enrolled in graduate school within six months of graduation. Their median annual salary was $57,000.  The median salary for international students was $60,000.”

The two-day Gulf Education Conference is committed to supporting global education programs through student recruitment as well as facilitating partnerships between international institutions, academies, schools, and universities with Ministries of Education from the MENA region.
