Cabinet approves Kingdom becoming member of The Hague Conference

The Cabinet on Monday approved the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s becoming a member of The Hague Conference on Private International Law.
The Cabinet welcomed the statement issued by the 25th session of the joint Gulf Cooperation Council-European Union ministerial council, held in Brussels, underscoring the importance, in these times of regional challenges, of continuing strengthening relations between them on firm and effective bases that contribute to regional and international stability and security,
It also stressed the strategic importance of close coordination between the two sides.
The Cabinet was briefed on King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Works’ report on the humanitarian assistance offered to injured Yemenis and their relatives in and outside the Kingdom.
It noted that the report reflects the Kingdom’s pioneering relief and humanitarian efforts, in general, and its determination to aid Yemen and its people, in particular, as per the instructions of Islam, which orders helping the needy, as well as the guidelines of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, crown prince and deputy crown prince, which urge, with the utmost impartiality and professionalism, giving Yemen and its people the greatest attention, working to alleviate their sufferings and support its citizens, regardless of their social standing or geographical location.
These efforts have placed the Kingdom at the top of those offering relief and humanitarian assistance to Yemen since 2015, while also ensuring that the Kingdom is a generous country that enjoys stability and security.
