Great food, chic surroundings and glamorous socialising are only some of the many reasons to celebrate the opening of two much-awaited restaurants at Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi at Al Maryah Island – Cafe Milano and
Butcher & Still.
Located on the vibrant business and lifestyle destination that is Al Maryah Island – the first Four Seasons address in Abu Dhabi is the home of stylish dining and entertainment with its collection of six food & beverage outlets that also include the market-inspired neighbourhood restaurant, Crust, and three must-visit lounges namely Zsa Zsa, Al Meylas and Eclipse Terrace Lounge.
Combined with Four Seasons’ legendary hospitality and Al Maryah Island’s dynamic appeal, the property gives residents and visitors the chance to discover the best of Abu Dhabi’s lively dining scene, at the city’s most exciting waterfront location.
Butcher & Still
With its classic design and glamorous vibe, Butcher & Still anchors Four Seasons Hotel Abu Dhabi at Al Maryah Island as the new destination in the capital’s dining and nightlife scene that opened on 10 October.
The modern interpretation of a 1920s Chicago steakhouse, serving American prime-cuts, great sides and classic cocktails, the restaurant’s sleek contemporary design contrasts the retro décor elements, featuring rich dark woods and distressed leather banquettes. Eclectic details continue right into the bathrooms, where unique accents line the tile work.
Located off the lobby of the Four Seasons Abu Dhabi Hotel, this restaurant has a capacity for over 250 guests, with both indoor and outdoor seating. The main dining room features a retractable wall opening onto the terrace – providing abundant sunlight and spectacular views of the Arabian Gulf and the city skyline.
The menu showcases prime cuts of high-quality American meats, featuring USDA natural Black Angus from Creekstone Farms in Kansas. The kitchen features a 1,800-degree-Fahrenheit oven for searing, a charcoal grill and a smoker. An antique bread oven is a showpiece, baking fresh, aromatic Parker House rolls. Traditional American desserts include cheesecake, pecan pie and lemon meringue tart.
The focal point of the bar is the world’s most impressive cocktail-making machine: a reproduction of an antique hand-operated cocktail shaker. Known as “Crawley’s Imperial Shaker,” it’s one of only a few in the world and the only one in the Middle East.
Butcher & Still is open daily from 7.00pm until 11.00pm. Reservations are highly recommended.
