Calling Kuwait’s kids: vote for your leaders for KidZania’s CongreZZ

KidZania Kuwait, the exciting kid-sized metropolis, is calling on the kids of Kuwait to vote for their preferred candidates at the upcoming 2015-2016 KidZania CongreZZ elections. Voting takes place between 6-14 November, 2015, inside the KidZania facility.

Just like in the real world, KidZania’s CongreZZ election is designed to inspire and educate children about the importance of voicing their opinions, working in teams and contributing to significant changes, while also giving them the opportunity to have a say in their own city. The CongreZZ candidates have been selected by an panel based on their ability to express, engage and participate within group discussions.

Children who wish to vote will be given a ballot card to elect one candidate each, from the two age groups: 7-9 and 10-12 years.

“KidZania CongreZZ teaches children about the meaning of equality, dedication and hard work while providing them with a medium to voice their opinions, debate and exchange information as part of a group. Opening the elections to children and encouraging them to vote for their favorite candidates will add a sense of realism to the process – which is what KidZania is all about,” said Fernando Medroa, Vice President of Leisure and Entertainment at M.H. Alshaya Co.

The elections will be followed by an oath-taking ceremony where the elected members will be officially sworn in. The function will be attended by KidZania Kuwait’s governor and mayor, the KidZania Management Team, VIP guests from the Mexican Embassy and the Ministry of Education, the newly elected CongreZZ members and their parents.
