Riyadh Gov. Prince Faisal bin Bandar will open the Top 100 Saudi Trademark awards ceremony on May 17 at the Riyadh Marriott Hotel.
“He will also give awards to the winners and the event is expected to engender healthy competition among local brands,” said Usamah M. Al-Kurdi, the spokesperson. The awarding of the Top 100 trademarks will take place under the auspices of Prince Bandar bin Khaled Al-Faisal, son of Makkah Gov. Khaled Al-Faisal.
Al-Kurdi, also the chairman of Alagat for Organizing Exhibitions, said that the event would be attended by top leaders of local business and industry and will introduce top Saudi brands to their international counterparts.
Mohsin Sheikh Al-Hassan, media consultant for the event, said that the Top 100 most popular Saudi trademarks would also help the Saudi company become stronger. “The healthy competition among local companies engendered by the awards will be to the benefit of consumers and, eventually, the local economy,” he said. He said the event would be an opportunity for business and industry leaders to help create a health competition for the benefit of the public and the local economy.
