Concours D’Elegance 4th Edition concludes its activities by Announcing the Winning Cars

Kuwait Concours D’ Elegance ended the fourth edition of the competition, which lasted over eight days from 11 to 18 February under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammad and the organization of : The Historical, Vintage and Classical Cars Museum, where it has seen competition between the greatest range of cars participating Kuwait and a number of countries from around the world.

Mr. Abdulaziz Saud Isaac, President of the Kuwait Concours D’ Elegance, thanked His Highness Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammad for his support and sponsorship of this global and unique competition in the Middle East, which highlighted the name of Kuwait in the field of classical cars. He also thanked the sponsors of the event and the panel of judges whom managed the process of selecting and choosing the winners in each category. In addition he expressed his gratitude to the organizing committee, which has done an extravagant job to bring this event to international standards and reflect the event on behalf of Kuwait.

The manager of the museum of classic cars, Abdelaziz Al Yaseen clarified that this year's competition was the most fierce, where members of the jury had a hard time in selecting the winners in each category due to the beauty of all participating cars.
Al Yaseen added that the competition, which was inaugurated by His Highness Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammed in the presence of a large crowd of Kuwaiti VIPs and lovers of historical and classical cars, had seen many events throughout its 8 days. The events varied between cars display, the parade of the cars participating in the competition, which won the intense admiration of the public who saw it in the Marina Crescent, in addition to the various side events that ranged from displaying the old government cars, motorcycles and the Monkey Gas cars presented for the first time in the Middle East. The competition also celebrated the festival of Ferrari, the Chevrolet Knights, the Almubar Cars as well as some of the most famous cars that participated in Hollywood.

He also confirmed that the fourth edition has achieved great success as it coincides these days with the national celebrations of Kuwait and it attracted large number of the public who were happy to take pictures the more than 100 cars participating in the contest this year.

And revealed that over the competition days discussions took place between members of the jury to choose the winners in each category and choose the best car, which concluded to announce the Lamborghini 350 GTS Spider model 1965, from Switzerland, as the winning car.
During a gala dinner held to honor the winners, the announcement of the winning cars was made as per the following:
