Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Mohammed bin Salman, made a generous donation of SAR one billion —at his own expense—to National Developmental Housing Foundation (Sakan), represented by Jood Eskan, to support housing ownership for eligible beneficiaries and families.
The Crown Prince directed that the housing projects funded by the donation be completed within a period not exceeding 12 months, and that they be implemented by national companies, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
He also directed that monthly reports be submitted on the progress of the ownership process, in an effort to ensure that all housing units are delivered within just one year.
The Crown Prince's donation stems from his commitment to providing citizens with a decent standard of living and is an extension of his deep interest in the housing sector in general, and housing projects targeting eligible families in particular. This has a significant impact on the social stability of thousands of families.
This also comes within the framework of the Kingdom's ongoing interest and support in providing citizens with a decent life, by supporting initiatives and projects that aim to provide housing in various regions of the Kingdom.
