Dalma Mall Joins Hands with Abu Dhabi Police for UAE Flag Day Celebrations

Dalma Mall, one of the largest shopping malls in Abu Dhabi, celebrated UAE Flag Day on November 2 with a string of events including a roaming entertainer parade and music show celebrating the Emirati heritage. Hundreds of shoppers joined the festivities with great enthusiasm as the Emirates flag was hoisted at the mall, located in Abu Dhabi’s growth corridor.

“Flag Day reflects a symbol of unity, devotion, and loyalty to the UAE, and its leadership,” said Bhupinder Singh, Dalma Mall's General Manager and CFO.

“Dalma Mall is pleased to take part in this historic event symbolising the nation’s unity and pride.”

The mall management staffs gathered together to share their moment of pride and joy dressed in the flag colors for the country's fifth flag day so as to show unity, patriotism, and loyalty to the Emirates and its leadership.

Mall’s management staff, retailers and hundreds of shoppers witnessed the colorful ceremony as roaming entertainers paraded the mall.

Dalma Mall also joined hands with Abu Dhabi Police and three schools – Al Dana School, Al Ajyal School, and Abdullah bin Otaiba School – to celebrate the Flag Day. These festivities included a show by the police force, a felicitation ceremony of Mussafah Police, a speech by the Abu Dhabi Police patron, presentations by the schools and a roaming entertainer parade. Various other activities and competitions were also organized.

The UAE Flag Day is celebrated each year to mark the anniversary of Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s presidency in 2004. On the occasion, Emiratis reaffirm their allegiance to the UAE flag, a symbol of the country’s unity, greatness, and aspirations.
