Danat Al Emarat Hospital in Abu Dhabi welcomes two Emirati babies on Eid Al-Fitr

  • Busy morning at Danat Al Emarat Hospital on Eid Al-Fitr 2023 with two UAE National babies born and eight mums in labour expecting to add to the Eid celebrations

Danat Al Emarat Hospital for Women and Children, a Mubadala Health partner, celebrated the first day of Eid Al-Fitr with the arrival of two newborns – one girl and one boy. 

 

Omar Al Naqbi, Acting Executive Director, Danat Al Emarat Hospital for Women & Children said: “On the occasion of Eid Al-Fitr, we are delighted to welcome two new babies into the world. This heartwarming event strengthens our commitment as caregivers to provide exceptional care and support to these newborns and their families. We are honored to have achieved the milestone of 32912 births since Danat Al Emarat Hospital delivered the first baby in 2015.

“Out of the total number of births, 17103 were boys and 15809 were girls, with 18391 being Emirati nationals. Danat Al Emarat Hospital continues to offer babies and their families the best treatment and services possible with the ongoing support and effort of our team of obstetricians, pediatricians, neonatologists, midwives, and nurses.” continued Omar Al Naqbi.

 

The first family to welcome their newborn this Eid Al Fitr at Danat Al Emarat Hospital was the Al Jaberi family of Emirati national, welcoming a baby girl, born at 4:01am, and weighing 2.76 kg, she was in good health. “The birth of our daughter on the first day of Eid doubles our joy and fills our hearts with gratitude” said Saif Rashed Al Jaberi, father of the baby. “We thank Allah for rewarding us with the most beautiful gift on this Eid. I also want to thank the entire team at Danat Al Emarat Hospital for caring for my wife and child, and for their continuous efforts.

 

The first baby girl was followed by another baby boy and doctors are attending eight more deliveries at Labor, Delivery, and Recovery (LDR) ward this morningTo mark this special occasion and in celebration of the first day of Eid Al-Fitr, Danat Al Emarat Hospital distributed flowers and chocolates to all patients and their children who were celebrating at the hospital.
