Dar Al Hekma University’s Visual Communications department is proud to invite you to the opening of our latest Senior Exhibition on the 9thof December at the Vibes Offices.
To celebrate the 23rd visual communication senior exhibition, our 12 graphic design and 8 motion graphics students will be showcasing their works based on an idea called “The Hex code”.
The hex code is a method of specifying color that represents three separate hues that are the components of colors; it is this synergy of the three-color values that illuminates the specified hue.
Building on this idea of using ‘values’ the students and their exhibition team have developed a three-value system that celebrates the true nature of synergy - the collaborative value of education, business and community to illuminate the growth of any society.
This is the second time the graduates’ show will be held outside the walls of the university campus and it is a great honour to collaborate with an innovative and groundbreaking organization like Vibes.
Such collaborations continue to develop communication while reinforcing the sharing of knowledge, skills and expertise, with the objective of strengthening society for afruitful outcome and economic growth.
Finally, as part of the new tradition of honoring outstanding alumnae we ask you to join us in celebrating Rawan Khogheer, founder of Rawan Stationery. Rawan opened the doors to her phenomenally successful stationary and gift-wrapping store that carries a carefully curated selection of greeting cards from multiple designers in the Arab region, providing the community with a unique, high-end solution.
Suhair Al-Qurashi, President of Dar Al Hekma University, said, “This exhibition acts as an innovative platform helping students venture into the labor market and lead a successful career. It is also an opportunity allowing employers to get a glance at the creative skills of the Visual Communication Department’s students. This prestigious edifice has always worked to graduate students who can play an efficient role in society and are equipped with the strongest skills, and most modern knowledge and science in their field of study. That is why our graduated students always land lucrative job opportunities at big companies.”
“I am honored and pleased to have witnessed the ladies develop and grow into the level that they have reached today with projects that are ready for implementation in the real world”. Ms. Hind Talal, Director of the Graphic Design and Motion Graphic programs.
