Devmark pens deal to partner with leading international real estate marketing agency

Devmark, the UAE-based real-estate consultancy and advisory firm, has formally signed a partnership with ThinkLab, the international leader in the development of virtual technology. The new entity will now provide real estate developers in the MENA region with the unique combination of cutting-edge sales technology and 60-years of real estate expertise.

As part of the new partnership, ThinkLab and Devmark will open a dedicated office in Dubai. The specialised marketing company will combine innovative technology, including 3D visuals, virtual reality platforms, 360-degree design views, video, a decade of award-winning real estate centric marketing experience, and a wealth of regional real estate expertise.

Sean McCauley, CEO, Devmark, said: “As part of our advisory services offering, we recognised the need to equip property developers with a higher level of technology and sales tools. Following an extensive global search, we identified ThinkLab’s technology capabilities, real estate marketing and branding expertise, and the clear synergies between our two companies.

“We now have a proposition that supports the entire developer value chain, allowing us to revolutionise how developers plan and launch their strategies while equipping them with the necessary sales tools. We can now provide our clients with a distinct competitive advantage, which will drive their performance and growth.”

Using three-dimensional modelling software, ThinkLab has developed photo-realistic imagery that allows developers to showcase renderings and give prospective investors a clear vision of new projects, including the interiors and exteriors and aerial images, before even breaking ground.

The company also produces animation and film and has the expertise to develop apps that incorporate brochures and walk-throughs to support the technology proposition further.

Corné von Bratt, Founder, and CEO, ThinkLab, said: “As a result of working in The Middle East for many years, we have long recognized the potential and opportunities this landscape has to offer. It was exciting to find a company like Devmark who holds a similar philosophy to ours. Not only is there an understanding of the importance of utilising the best technology and teams within the real estate and marketing industry, but they also advocate for implementing it.

In early discussions with Devmark, whose experience span over 60-years and have worked with the largest brands in the UAE, we recognised that together there was an opportunity to create a specialised marketing company, with deep real estate sector experience, and supported by one of the region's most respected real estate advisories. We are looking forward to this new chapter.”

The new partnership will see ThinkLab and Devmark open a dedicated office in DMCC (Dubai Multi Commodities Centre), in Dubai’s Jumeriah Lakes Towers (JLT) community.

Commenting on the announcement, Ahmed Bin Sulayem, Executive Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, DMCC, added: “Delighted to welcome ThinkLab and Devmark to DMCC. We take great pride in attracting disruptors to Dubai from all around the world and, being home to innovative companies that push boundaries. The dynamic business ecosystem we have curated here in Jumeirah Lakes Towers for nearly 20 years will serve ThinkLab and Devmark well, and I look forward to seeing them grow and expand their enterprise alongside our other 17,000 members.”

ThinkLab currently operates offices in Cape Town and London and has delivered immersive content for real estate developers around the world with projects including the Address Residences Jumeirah Resort, Dubai, 66 East, 11th Street, New York,
317 Finchley Road, London, and Alpha One, Cape Town, amongst others.
