Award demonstrates DLD as continuing to meet global best practice
The Dubai Land Department (DLD) has announced that it has received the European Standard Certificate for Innovation Management GEN/ TS 16555 1:2013, which certifies the organisation as meeting many of the current global best practices within innovation management. This achievement falls within DLD’s ongoing efforts to reach the highest international standards of excellence.
Following the receipt of the certificate from Rachid Cherkaoui, Managing Director of SGS Gulf Limited, His Excellency Sultan Butti Bin Mejren, Director General at Dubai Land Department said: "I would like to extend my congratulations to all colleagues, who have successfully implemented the highest standards of best practice to achieve this certification of organisational excellence and quality. This award falls in line with our vision to become a premier real estate destination in innovation, trust and happiness.
He added: "The achievement of this milestone recognises our capabilities, through successfully achieving of all of the qualification’s technical evaluation stages. I would like to provide special thanks to the Planning & Corporate Development Department and Service Monitoring Department, and all of those who have made essential contributions within this field. We are confident that DLD’s teamwork will deliver us even more excellence over the coming months of this year."
The Innovation Management System aims to develop and promote innovation and creative thinking at both individual and institutional levels. This standard is the first of its kind in the world for building an integrated management system to support innovation, contributing to service development and modernisation. The system’s creative working mechanisms ultimately lead to services that exceed customer expectations.
