His Excellency/ Taresh Eid Al Mansouri, Managing Director of Dubai Courts, has received a high-level delegation from the People's Republic of China, led by H. E. Chu Chiang, Chief Magistrate and Chairman ofPeople's Court in China. The visit aim to reveal best applied practices in Dubai Courts in Judicial and Administrative fields, including methods of speeding judicial process and mechanism of judgments enforcement.
The visit came out of Dubai Courts aim to boost its external relations and to maintain cooperation with different entities. In this way confidence in the judicial system is boosted, locally and globally, with achieving Dubai Courts’ vision of being the prominent courts globally. The meeting was attended by Justice Abdulqader Musa, Deputy Managing Director of Dubai Courts in addition to a number of Magistrates and Directors.
In his inaugural statement, His Excellency/ Taresh Al Mansouri, welcomed the visitor delegation and expressed his happiness with this visit. This visit came to enhance relations of friendship and develop mutual cooperation.His Excellency affirmed that Dubai Court continuously aim to expand using technology in its services. Recently, there was remarkable development in in technology sector on local and global aspects as a result of applying the vision of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and ruler of Dubai. His vision is to make Dubai the smartest and happiest city on earthin line with Dubai Plan 2021. The plan aims to make Dubai smart, sustainable, integrated, connected, pioneer and creative city in meeting the need of individuals and society.
H.E. Judge Mohamed Alsabobi, Chief Judge of Dubai Commercial Court, presented the judicial system of Dubai Courts to the Chinese visitors. He explained that the Courts have three main instances: First Instance, Appeal and Cassation. First Instance Court has 7 specialized courts: Civil, Commercial, Labor, Real Estate, Criminal, Personal status, and enforcement court. H.E. exhibited also the smart applications used by Dubai Courts to developing the judicial system in line with the smart transfer and best global practices. Dubai Courts aim to achieve the vision ofH.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and ruler of Dubai, of making customers happy and achieve welfare of society.
Ms. Sanaa alzarooni at Dubai Courts, gave brief introduction on Dubai Courts strategic plan and objectives to support judicial and administrative systems. The plan aims to support the effectiveness of internal performance and develop human resources. The visitor delegation viewed “Rasid Program” that tracks Dubai Courts indicators electronically, and support smart transformation of Dubai Courts services, settlements between litigant parties and resolving disputes to save time and speed litigation process.
Dubai Court strategic plan and objectives support judicial and administrative law, locally and globally; it enhance internal performance effectiveness and develop human resources. The visitor delegation made a tour inside Dubai Courts premises and viewed presentation on electronic and smart development in judicial field and Dubai Courts experience in smart services.
At the end of the tour, the Chinese Delegation commended the Dubai Courts’ achievements and smart transformation in procedures and services. Such achievement would positively contribute in advancement in services and speed in enforcement of judgments and decisions. The delegation affirmed that Dubai Courts achievements is due to open minded and advanced strategy that benefit from available expertise to achieve justice according to global standards.
