The countdown is on for the region’s largest celebration of fitness and healthy living. The Sun & Sand Sports (SSS) Fitness Fest races into The Palm, Skydive Dubai on November 4 & 5 with activities, fun challenges, exciting competitions, and healthy cooking shows for the whole family.
Adding further excitement to the action-packed weekend, organisers have confirmed that the annual Dubai Women’s Run will start and finish at SSS Fitness Fest, with 7,000 women running through the festival. Paired with The Strongman Champions League Finals, the festival is the perfect place for visitors to become inspired to kick-start their own active, healthy lifestyles.
SSS Fitness Fest will also feature fun for the whole family with the UAE’s largest inflatable obstacle course where children and parents will enjoy climbing walls, passing through hurdles and jumping through hoops. The family fun will continue with free activities including basketball hoops, belly dancing classes, wall climbing, cricket, football and running.
Various activities and challenges suited for every fitness level are available throughout the two-day festival -- from trying the latest equipment in exercise demos, competing at play offs, watching a muscle fitness showdown, to riding a Jeep on a custom-built obstacle course. Tough challenges are also featured at the festival with the World Finals Strongman Champions League where top 10 finalists from all over the globe will fiercely battle it out for the title of the ‘Strongest Man in the World,’ and a tough calisthenics competition, Battle of the Bars.
The festival will be headlined by international sensation Joe Wicks, also known as ‘The Body Coach’ on November 5. Joe will give inspirational talks, hold cooking demonstrations, and High Interval Training at the event.
