Edarat awarded SAR 7.1M project by Almaviva

Edarat Communication and Information Technology Co. was awarded today, July 21, a project by Almaviva Saudi Arabia for Information Technology for a period of five and a half years at a value of SAR 7.14 million (inclusive of VAT), according to a statement to Tadawul.

Under the contract, Edarat will provide cloud and managed services for Almaviva Saudi Arabia to host public transport systems.

Edarat will migrate the systems and applications to the Edarat sovereign cloud and provide infrastructure as a service (IaaS), backup as a service (BaaS), and disaster recovery as a service (DRAAS), the company added.

There are no related parties to the deal, the statement noted.
