Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation (EMPOWER), the world's largest district cooling service provider, has announced its participation in the 10th World Future Energy Summit (WFES), which will be held as part of Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week 2017, under the theme of 'Practical Steps Towards a Sustainable Future' from January 16 to19 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre
The summit offers a global platform for pioneers in the sustainability and energy sectors at the regional and global level. The summit will showcase latest studies and techniques related to the development of efficient use of clean and renewable energy. It also seeks to create proper and active environment for new opportunities for businesses.
“The goals of the World Future Energy Summit are in sync with our strategy which is guided by the vision of our leaders. The core of UAE 2021 vision places sustainable development and efficient use of energy as a top priority. Our participation in this summit is an extension of our interest to attend different international or local forums to update ourselves in new developments in energy and sustainability. Empower, during its participation in the summit, will display the model of its plant in Business Bay, and will highlight its role in providing environmentally friendly cooling services of highest international standards. This plant saves electricity consumption and helps reduce environmental pollution and conserve water.
The World Future Energy Summit will review the latest projects in energy and renewable energy, future infrastructure projects, government strategies and international innovations, especially those related to nuclear energy and solar power. The summit will highlight the importance of the efficient use of energy in the present and future facilities, in addition to innovations and smart infrastructures.
