As part of the Emiratisation initiative to employ more UAE nationals in the private and public sectors, Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation (Empower), world’s largest district cooling services provider, has announced today an increase by 13% in 2016 in the employment of UAE nationals in the company.

As a dynamic employer, we are always searching for qualified profiles and highly experienced specialists but also opening our door for the young Emirati talents, in the fields of energy, R&D, sales, marketing, and engineering among others and we also pay special attention to employ women of the UAE nationals,” said HE Ahmad Bin Shafar, CEO of Empower.

Empower was established in 2003 with an objective to enable the real estate sector to efficiently utilize energy resources through District Cooling Services (DCS).
Empower currently operates more than 1 million 200 thousands RT, providing environmentally responsible district cooling services to large-scale real estate developments, such as Jumeirah Group, Business Bay, Jumeirah Beach Residence, Dubai International Financial Centre, Palm Jumeirah, Jumeirah Lake Towers, Ibn Battuta Mall, Discovery Gardens, Dubai Healthcare City, Dubai World Trade Centre Residences and Dubai Design District, among others.
